  It is an extraorindarily beautiful property with attention to detail inside and out. The room was delightful and comfortable with wonderful beds. The owner gave us a guided tour to explain the history of the property and the rennovation process -- fascinating. The bistro had delicious fare and a lovely ambience. It was simpl - Great attention to detail, whithout being stuffy our pretentious. One felt at home and confortable. Newspapers are available in the reception area and books in the lounge, and drinks are available in the mini bar of the room free of charge. We had dinner one night at the hotel and enjoyed it greatly. We overheard quite a few clients mentioning that they had been there before and were planning to return.

Dinner buffet was excellent, a terrific value, especially after 32 days hiking on el camino de santiago encountering almost universally awful and overpriced food. The location is excellent if if are planning to leave on the train; easy walking both to the heart of the city and the train station. - Fairly... wat mensen zeggen » new modern hotel which is about 10 minutes from the Cathedral and old town. Airport bus stops close to hotel and costs 5 euros return. Taxi to hotel is 21 euros. Hotel has free wi-Fi. Plenty eating places close to hotel.

  we stayed for 1 night only at the hesperia peregrino in santiago before moving on to a coruna . we could not have chosen a nicer hotel. the staff were very helpful and most friendly. we did not book breakfast but had coffee and toast around the pool area the price was good and the surroundings were beautiful we were sorry we had booked only one ... wat mensen zeggen » night at this hotel . we shall return - Excellent location (close to the city centre but far enough to be veryquiet); Clean and confortable room; Fantastic buffet breakfast for asmall additional cost
