  Just got back and everything about this place is as good as earlier reviews say it is. I was tempted not to add comments so I could keep this gem to myself. We were staying B/B so cannot comment on the evening meal but the breakfast was excellent, with choice galore & as much (or little) as you wish from fresh fruit, cooked and continental br... wat mensen zeggen » eakfasts, omelettes etc. The hotel staff & their service is great throughout from the front desk, bar-staff to the nice ladies who clean the rooms - The staff are excellent: professional and competent whilst also friendly and good humoured. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre.   Loved the facilities at the hotel, the gym was great and in door pool jacuzi, steam and sauna, outdoor pool very cold but refreshing. We used the bike storage which was very secure and hired bikes at the port. We didnt eat at the hotel as we were self catering but it looked good quality food we just enjoyed walking into the port.   We paid £36 a night for a beautiful studio apartment. It could easily sleep four. Nice balcony. Absolutely amazing value for money. Our friends stayed around the corner at the Hotel Minamar and paid £130 for essentially the same room with a view of the ocean. We def. got the better deal. Checked out on Sunday morning and spent the day on the beach... wat mensen zeggen » with our bags at the front desk, when we picked them up, they offered to give us a hotel room with a shower briefly before we left, just for free out - We were very pleased with Flora apartments, just newly refurbished. We had a pool view apt on the 1st floor, it was a lovely, bright, spacious apt. Kitchen was v well equipped and easy to cook meals in - a brand new electric kettle and toaster, also a microwave Staff were very helpful and friendly. The central location is wonderful , only a few minutes walk to the seafront and lots of very good restaurants and shops etc.

  Excellently refurbished apartments just a row back from the beach. We asked for a sunny low floor apartment with a nice view and this is what we got. In the party there were a 60 year old, a 30 year old couple and a 2 year old and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Incidentally the Bahia is also a fantastic hotel situated right on the beach. We have stayed there before - The apartments are just complete refurbished! We were the first to sleep in the apartment. Very good bed,tidy and super shower! Price was fair and reasonable. Just 5 minutes walk from port the pollenca boulevard

  Our 7th or 8th visit. We love the Pollensa park. All friendly. Super food. Good rooms. Wonderful views. Pool area good to sunbath. Entertainments. Already wishing we were there again.   The hotel is very nice and perfectly located in the park/forest. Food was extremely good both for breakfast and dinner; we had just breakfast paid but stayed for dinner a couple of times and did not regret. Beach itself is overcrowded but sea swimming area is spacious and water is clean. So if you like you can stay near the swimming pool and walk ... wat mensen zeggen » (5 min through the park) to the sea to swim. - The location and setting are marvelous. Beuatifull garden, seasode and spacious rooms. Close to paradise.

  Even better than we had expected from seeing the web-site before we booked - really friendly staff, clean and bright accommodation, brilliant quiet location for the beach and then only a 20 minute walk to the port for some night-life. - We enjoyed the place a lot, nice beach, room, services.   Everything. The staff are amazingly friendly and efficient. The hotel is clean, very comfortable, well equipped and in a great location. One of, if not the best hotel I have ever stayed in in Spain and the islands.
