  the location of the hotel is lovely, straight across the road (not a busy road) to the beach and sea. Although the rooms weren't large they were clean and tidy, we would pick the sea view every-time, the staff are all friendly and helpfull, and meals are buffet style with plenty of choice. - The food was delicious with plenty of choice at breakfa... wat mensen zeggen » st and dinner.   Just got back and everything about this place is as good as earlier reviews say it is. I was tempted not to add comments so I could keep this gem to myself. We were staying B/B so cannot comment on the evening meal but the breakfast was excellent, with choice galore & as much (or little) as you wish from fresh fruit, cooked and continental br... wat mensen zeggen » eakfasts, omelettes etc. The hotel staff & their service is great throughout from the front desk, bar-staff to the nice ladies who clean the rooms - The staff are excellent: professional and competent whilst also friendly and good humoured. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre. The hotel itself is a traditional Mallorcan house, developed such that it retains its character, while also being smart and modern. Excellent breakfast, and so good to be able to eat outside, if pre

  Loved the facilities at the hotel, the gym was great and in door pool jacuzi, steam and sauna, outdoor pool very cold but refreshing. We used the bike storage which was very secure and hired bikes at the port. We didnt eat at the hotel as we were self catering but it looked good quality food we just enjoyed walking into the port.   The Uyal was away from the main resort bustle but an easy, flat stroll to the centre of things when we wanted the shops and restaurants etc. Local bus stops to Alcudia and Pollense Old Town were 100 meters from Uyal and cost 3Euros single, for 2 people. Our room was tastefully decorated and immaculate. We had a fabulous view from our front facing ... wat mensen zeggen » balcony. Breakfasts were particularly good and it was no inconvenience to eat breakfast early, on our departure day. - We enjoyed being across the street from the beautiful beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the breakfast every morning. There was a variety of food to please everyone's taste. The room had free internet which was great. We never had problems finding a place to park that was close to the hotel. We also liked that it was a nice walk to the town center and there were all kinds of restaurants in the vicinity.

  Hotel was comfortable. Staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. Great bike facilities - secure and safe. Nice pool and sun loungers. I was able to take a shower on my last day there after checking out in one of the spare rooms.   Staff were ever so friendly. I was only bed and breakfast but the food was great. Room was lovely and it was very peaceful only a few mins walk to the lovely sandy beech.
