  We liked almost everything at the hotel. Its location couldn't be better, right behind the metro exit and you can watch Sagrada Familia at breakfast time or whenever ou go up the terrace. Receptionists and waiters, everybody was very helpful. Room was very large and clean and modern. Hotel is very new with a minimalist design. I requested a specific type of room at the time of reservation and they remembered - The staff. They went out of our way to fix any issues with the room, answer our many questions, mail our postcards, tell us about the culture of the city, etc. They packed a breakfast bag for my wife and I in the early morning when we left since we could not stay for breakfast. We were still talking about how friendly the staff was when we got home. This is the best customer service we've had amongst all the places we've visited in the mediterranean.   The location was good, in the Eixample district - 10 mins walk from Passieg de Gracia Railway Station, so we took train from airport T.2 - only took 25 mins and costs 3.5 euros each. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful - nothing too much trouble. A very good buffet breakfast was included in price. The basic room was fine for a couple of ... wat mensen zeggen » nights stay, but was quite small and window overlooked small internal courtyard, so not much light. We upgraded to comfort room which was much better - I can highly recommend this trendy hotel.The staff are friendly and knowledgable, rooms are clean and comfortable and we had a beautiful view over the city, from our balcony, plus a nespresso machine. Breakfast was excellent and this was leisure combined with business. We stayed in this 4 star hotel for leisure and thereafter went to a 5 star hotel where our conference were, but this 4 star hotel was much better than the 5star. Thus don't let the stars confuse you!

  The hotel is completely new. We had the room facing the pool area(cons of the street). The room was very clean with comfortable beds, with enough space, free juices and water in the refrigerator, tea and coffee maker with coffee and tea bags (refilled every day) and with very nice and clean bathroom. Near the hotel there are more than few restaurants where you can eat well at a reasonable price. - The rooms are nicely decorated, the hotel has its own personality, every room is decorated differently. We had a room on the top floor and it came with a large terasse and sunbeds. The bed was perfect, not too hard, not too soft. Location is great, just one block from Passeig de Gracia and Plaza Catalunya. Close to the lively tourist area, but still in a less crowded, noisy neighbourhood. Food at breakfast was good, large variety, it's only a cold breakfast. The hotel is brand new, we stayed on
