  Very nice friendly hostal in the great location of Huertas district in the center of Madrid. Everything is walking distance and at the same time there is no noise from the streets.   Friendly very helpful staff eventhough they did not speak English and I spoke only a little Spanish. Convenient hotel and whilst nothing very special good value for money and would go again. - Very central, at walking distance of most important monuments and galleries.   It's a perfect place to stay in Madrid. it was the best hostel i've ever stayed. Why? 1. Clean and beautiful. For me its the most important criteria - to have a clean bath and bed. Here everything looked new and smart. Cool design in corridors and inside the rooms. 2. Friendly and very helpful stuff. They will help you to organize the stay better... wat mensen zeggen » than in tourist office. 3. Location. Close to everything most important. I never took a metro. From r/w st. Attocha - on foot, to bus station to air - Hostel is at a perfect location, close to Plaza del Sol, tons of bars and clubs and Prado museum. Athough it is in a loud area, the hostel itself is pretty peaceful and sleeping problems caused by outside noise are non-existent. Hostel staff is probably the friendliest and more helpful than I've ever seen. They are always ready to answer any questions and request within their power. The design is simply wonderful and refreshing. The rooms are so clean that you could probably eat off the floor

  Hostel Aguliar is an excellent Hostal. It is in the middle of the city. I loved that I could tour all day, and go back to freshen up around the corner. I was able to walk to the Hard Rock Cafe' for some American food, but the location offeres many Tapas locations, as well as bakery places for morning coffee/ breakfast. The price to stay in the cit... wat mensen zeggen » y is also very hard to beat. - The hotel is very center located, and only 3-5 minutes from metro "Sol". The rooms were recently renovated. They are simple, but of a good size and very clean. The staff is extremely helpful! The hotel doesn`t suggest breakfast, but there are a lot of cafes nearby.
