  Hotel is very well located, a few steps from Porta del Sol and Plaza Mayor, has very friendly staff and has a very cool decoration in the room and a cool design. Breakfast is just regular is taken is taken in restaurant located 1 min from the Hotel. There's a small market right in front of the hotel what is very convenient. Gentleman at the front desk very obliging. Very close to hop on hop off, supermercado, correos. Stop over on my way to Leon to start the camino. Unfortunately breakfast is not served until 0800 hrs but i had to leave earlier. Would stay again.

  Great location - close to everything for sightseeing and nightlife but a quiet street for sleeping/relaxing. We were in C Balsa - just a minute or two from C Cadiz and less than 5 minutes from Sol, Major, Anna etc. The apartment was 5th floor but had a lift to the 4th. Great to have the roof terrace. Great contact and very helpful staff who gave us a map when we checked in and pointed out v - The location! There's shopping: Zara,mango bershka etc etc right at the street! There's metro and train! Centre of everything! Everything is within a mere 15mins away~ Person in charge - Carlos is a very humorous n friendly guy! Gave us v gd recommendations n also orientation of our surroundings. A Chinese saying goes: although a sparrow is small, it is sufficient n have everything.

  We stayed one night at the Plaza Mayor and wished our stay in Madrid was longer. The hotel is an old traditional building with charming features. Our room was a good size with everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable. and everything was spotlessly clean. It was so close to the wonderful Plaza too and near many good restaurants. Thank you! - The location is perfect (close to main squares and public transportation). Staff is very friendly. Rooms are always clean. Single rooms are very small but if you are looking for just place to sleep, perfect for money vs. quality,service,comfort and location. Easy transportation possibilities from the airport (one bus and 4 metro stops).

  Hostal Veracruz is very nice and has clean rooms with AC and own bathrooms. It is very close to Sol, so really in very center of Madrid and Spain. Everything is in walking distance or else the metro and cercanias are near by (at Sol). You are in the thick of the nightlife of Madrid and of the shopping center. The single room was good and very comfortable. Everything was also very clean and the staff was friendly.   Perfect location close to Puerta del Sol and very comfortable, this apartment was a great choice for our trip to Madrid. We really loved the modern yet homely decoration and the beds were extremely comfortable and the towels super soft! Everything was of a high quality. Alex checked us in and offered great advice about the restaurants we should visit and how to get around easily. Doris was reall - We have nothing but great things to say about Spain select! The service was fantastic throughout and all went perfectly. Alex was really helpful during check-in and Juliette from the concierge service even booked us guided tours of the prado. The apartment is spotless and very tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed for our stay. The location couldn't be better with Sol just a minute's walk away. Thank you Spain Select, we'll be back again!

The hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. - It was very comfortable indeed, in the heart of Madrid, with an excellent cafe for breakfast in the hotel itself. In addition, the price for the room represented excellent value for money and if the hotel had not been fully-booked, we would have stayed longer at it.

Toen we om een andere kamer vroegen was dat geen probleem, en kregen we een grotere, met mooi uitzicht, zonder bij te hoeven betalen. Vraag dus bij het inchecken om een kamer met 2 losse bedden (aan elkaar schuiven).
