  Very nice friendly hostal in the great location of Huertas district in the center of Madrid. Everything is walking distance and at the same time there is no noise from the streets. Rooms are quite small, but cosy and clean. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. The best option for this price. - The location is great. Heart of Madrid, safe area... wat mensen zeggen » . Our Superior Double room was perfectly comfortable, although a little dim as there wasn't much light from the interior-facing window.   Staff was helpful, smiley and made you feel welcome. The place was very clean and tidy all over and the decor was quite decent with nice design touches that made it feel fresh, simple and modern. My single room was just right and the shower room was nice and everything worked as it should. There was a flatscreen and ac and plenty of space to ve around.   Hostel Aguliar is an excellent Hostal. It is in the middle of the city. I loved that I could tour all day, and go back to freshen up around the corner. I was able to walk to the Hard Rock Cafe' for some American food, but the location offeres many Tapas locations, as well as bakery places for morning coffee/ breakfast. They are simple, but of a good size and very clean. The staff is extremely helpful! The hotel doesn`t suggest breakfast, but there are a lot of cafes nearby.

  There was a lot to like about this hostal. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The place was extremely clean. Our room was pretty small but for a budget option we didn't expect it to be large. One of the best things about Hostal Zamora is the location. You can walk to all the big tourist attractions-Puerta del Sol, the Prado and other art... wat mensen zeggen » museums, and the Palacio Real. There are scads of restaurants all around. You'd think it would be noisy but it's not. It's on a quiet square so yo - I am so sorry that I haven't asked the name of that super professional and kind guy at the reception. He was extremely careful, helped us out with all our questions and made sure that we were comfortable and safe all the time. The three recommendations he gave us (breakfast place, lunch place and pizza place) were all great. The hotel itself was not exactly what we were waiting for, but the location is great and everything was so easy. Recommend it.

  location is brilliant. so easy to explore the city. everything within walking distance, even metro station. room was good + good value for money. loved the cultural vibe of Madrid. this was our first day in Europe/Spain & started off terribly, but both Raul & Reuben were absolutely amazing! they could speak english and sorted out our probl... wat mensen zeggen » ems with shuttle service who had ridden off with some of our bags. they helped us retrieve our lost luggage at airport. I cannot praise them highly en - Up to the moment I entered the hostal I didn't have great expectations. Once inside the room I felt very spanish and ready to conquer the world. Extremely cosy, warm, very clean and friendly, well located, close to Gran Via and therefore close to everything in Madrid the hostal offered us the best opportunity in Madrid for feeling excellent. For people willing to go to Madrid I would kindly suggest to have a very pleasant stay at hostal America.

The staff was friendly. The rooms although small are comfortable and clean. The beds were set every day, and clean towels were provided if necessary. I highly recommend this hostel since is the best vale for money!
