  This hostel is in a great location, within walking distance of most major attractions in Madrid and very close to a subway station. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The cost is very reasonable. The hostel was clean. We were traveling as a couple and able to get a room with a private bathroom. Ot - Central location. Can walk to puerto del sol, plaza mayor areas. Then on the other side, can walk to museo del prado etc. From the airport, take express bus to atocha then take the metro and stop at anton martin. the hostel is around 2-3 blocks from the anton martin metro station. Just follow the numbers. It has a small sign so look closely. If you see stores selling cloth and women's tailored dresses, you're near. Jose was very helpful.   Very secure, friendly and helpful staff, very clean. We chose San Blas because of its location near Atocha station. Within easy reach of all main attractions. We would stay here again. I think people need to remind themselves how much they pay before writing reviews. If you want four star then you will pay a lot more.   Pension is situated in a good place, close to the city centre and close to metro station. The man who worked at the reception (Hose) was wery nice, serviceable and kind. He was always ready to help us find whatever we were looking for in Madrid. Our room was seamlessly clean with clean towels every morning. In the cheack out day Hose saved our laguage untill the moment we went to the airport and we thank him a lot :) - - excellent location exactly in the center of Madrid - very friendly staff and also very helpful - extremely affordable prices - shops and minimarkets right near and across the pension - clean rooms, spacious and comfortable - the rooms that go into the interior court are very quiet, the ones that go in the street can be a bit noisy during the night
