We were happily surprised. It is a low profile hotel. No grand entrance, but home like. The room was spacious, clean, newly styled, comfortable with a wonderful balcony view of the city. The hotel is about a block away from a beautiful archway and walkway, not covered on the bus tours. The neigherhood is safe and there is life going on up until 2:00 a.m., but it does not disturb the guests. We loved it. This hotel can accomodate those with who walk with a cane/walker. It was only three minutes from the metro station and only 15 minutes from the old town for these persons who love walking and 10 minutes from Sagrada Famiglia. It was very clean, they clean the room every day and they change towels every time that you ask for it. Perfect wi-fi in the room and the staff is the most polite and helpful we 've ever met. They gave us a map of the town with the most popular monuments and they adviced us for everything that we asked. There is a lift. Very safe streets

Het is maar 5min. lopen naar Plein Catalunya en 8min. naar de Ramblas ideaal. De eigenaar geeft je ook hele goeie tips voor de bezienswaardigheden van Barcelona, wij gaan er zeker naar terug.

The hotel appears to be residential apartments that have just been renovated to a very high grade 'Art Deco' standard. Location of the hotel is excellent. Close to a metro station and in the middle of Las Ramblas and El Borne. In winter, el borne is a better place to be close rather than since la rambla. The staff has made really nice improvements and facilities in the hotel, that's nice. But some of the stuff like towels and sheets are really too old.

Our stay at Hostel Goya and as such in Barcelona was wonderful experience. Hostel staffs were helpful, warm and welcoming. When we arrived at the hostel Ms.Path explained in details where to go, what to see and what to eat. We followed her recommendations and our Barcelona vacation was a memorable experience that we would cherish this life time. The premise and the room were kept spick and span condition.
