We were happily surprised. It is a low profile hotel. No grand entrance, but home like. The room was spacious, clean, newly styled, comfortable with a wonderful balcony view of the city. The hotel is about a block away from a beautiful archway and walkway, not covered on the bus tours. It was only three minutes from the metro station and only 15 minutes from the old town for these persons who love walking and 10 minutes from Sagrada Famiglia. It was very clean, they clean the room every day and they change towels every time that you ask for it. Perfect wi-fi in the room and the staff is the most polite and helpful we 've ever met. They gave us a map of the town with the most popular monuments and they adviced us for everything that we asked. There is a lift. Very safe streets

The atmosphere was really relaxed with a lot of added extras like the user of the internet facilities included in the price. The dining area with the facilities to make coffee and tea made you feel welcome. The staff was helpful and friendly. - Central location but difficult to find.

Super nice staff, very friendly and helpful. All rooms clean and well designed, and the facilities in bathrooms are very good. The hotel appears to be residential apartments that have just been renovated to a very high grade 'Art Deco' standard. Location of the hotel is excellent. Close to a metro station and in the middle of Las Ramblas and El Borne. In winter, el borne is a better place to be close rather than since la rambla. The staff has made really nice improvements and facilities in the hotel, that's nice. But some of the stuff like towels and sheets are really too old.

I got a single room with private toilet and bathroom. The staff knew English a little, but they are very kind and helpful. They tried the best to answer my questions. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was really better than what I expected from a hostel.
