  Location is super for discovery Madrid. All attractions are within walking distance.Very welcoming and friendly staff. The breakfast was ample and tasty, especially Spanish ham with melon. The hotel is full of old-style, but in a modern deluxe apartments. The rooms are large and comfortable. The cost of staying at the hotel is quite moderate. The atmosphere around t - 2 mins from Puerto del Sol (basically, its a center of the city) and Metro. Shopping area (el corte ingles). Elevator / Lift (I didn't use it). Air conditioner. 3 wifi spots for your choice (my modern tablet wasn't able to use the best AP, so i used the 2nd one and was happy.   Excellent location, close to the museums and the railway station, 5 to 10 minutes walk. Great views from the 7 large windows on the Plaza Santa Ana. The plaza is interesting and filled with people. Take earplugs if you are sensitive and want to sleep with open windows. Well equiped kitchen. Big and well equipped apartment .   Absolutely loved everything about this place. On arrival the staff were incredibly helpful. The apartment was immaculately clean, very spacious for 5 of us, and of a high standard. We're approximately 10 metres from The main square and from the main night club where we spent our time! We were in the duplex apartment; great value for money and a perfect bolt-hole for my sister and I right in the middle of Madrid. Didn't even mind the five flights of stairs!

  It is a very comfortable apartment style hotel with full kitchen. The office is right down stairs. The administrative people are very nice and helpful. The location of the hotel is right in the center of the city, convenient to tour bus, shopping, sightseeing, groery stores.The price is reasonable for family with kids.   First of all, the location of the hostel is great, being located in the heart of Madrid, a few minutes away from Gran Via and all the cultural places. Also it is really easy to arrive from the airport. Next, the staff was young, professional, very friendly and with good communication skills (they spoke English - The location of Hostal Gala is excellent, a 5 minute walk from Gran Via and Puerto Del Sol. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, always ready to help and advise on where to go and what to do. The hostal is also kept very clean and the cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Although the rooms do not have safe deposit boxes, security and leaving passports/money behind was never a cause for concern. This is a place I would recommend and stay at again!

  Het hotelpersoneel was erg toegankelijk en aardig. Ze hadden een goede beheersing van het Engels. Ik heb wel eens een half uur gekletst met die mensen. Ze waren ook erg meedenkend en hebben verschillende aanraders gedaan. Verder hadden ze ook een prima eerste ontbijtje, wat erg goedkoop was. De handdoeken werden ook iedere dag met de bedden verscho... wat mensen zeggen » ond, en zelfs de kleding werd opgevouwen. - Ze hebben voor ons binnen een half uur een nieuw verblijf geregeld midden in de nacht omdat we lekkage hadden in onze hotelkamer. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk.
