  The location was excellent!! I can't say that enough! Basically in Puerta del Sol, with a subway station 1 min away, and at walking distance from the major attractions (Gran Via, Plaza de Cibeles, Calle Alcalá, Palacio Real, Catedral de Almudena, Paseo del Prado, etc.) a lot of shops, restaurants and cafés nearby, but inside the hotel it was reall... wat mensen zeggen » y quite, besides all the street noise.   Great location in Madrid. Very central so we walked everywhere from Puerto Del Sol.. Lots of shops nearby, restaurants, bars etc. and metro station is a stones throw away. Apartment was very clean , bedrooms were nice and sofabed was fine. Called us a taxi and sorted that out which would have been hard on the day we left due to protests in Puert - Perfect location! So close to a Metro, Sol, a few stops to Atoche Renfe if you need to get a train. In the heart of the city so you can walk to almost everything from here. Armando is not warm and fuzzy and really does not speak any English, however, he did let us store our luggage for free since we arrived early in the day. He met us later in the day to check in and we could communicate with gestures and a few words. The apartment is clean and comfortable. Could use more blankets. Does not hav
