  This hotel is a rare gem. The staff is simply exceptional in their level of care, friendliness and willingness to do anything possible to make your visit to Penang interesting and enjoyable. From the moment you step into this magical place you are welcomed as if you are royalty. Our room which was actually a suite was decorated with - It's a beautifully restored set of old houses, the staff are courteous, friendly and helpful, there are special touches like the 4pm cup of tea and kuih (local cake) by the poolside. It rained part of the time we were there but this was a lovely place to just relax and read a book in peace. The Kebaya restaurant was where we had the best meal during our three days, wish it were open for lunch too. The staff ... amazing ! they anticipate and watch out for you...for eg I was at breakfast one morning and it was rather cold, then the waiter came with a shawl as he saw me trying to keep myself warm with my bare hands. We didn - We almost want to keep Malihom our little secret it is so special...It's hard to put into words how beautiful the Malihom Estate is. The views are outstanding, the estate with infinity pool is outstanding, the Thai Barns are spotless, the food is delicious, the Malihom team are fantastic people who couldn't do enough to help and are so friendly. And if you love nature you'll definitely love Malihom.

  I like the view of the sunset bar where we had our dinner. My husband and I enjoyed the wine and delicious food that night. It was so romantic and relax. We managed to find our romance back in our marriage where we have forgotten with our busy and challenging city life.
