  We stayed two nights in September 2013 at the Traders Hotel in Penang. The hotel is part of the Shangri-la group and used to be called the Shangri-la Inn. It’s not a brand new property but from what we could tell it is still in a very well-maintained condition.   I like everything about the hotel! Love the saltwater infinity pool! Even though the swimming pool quite small, but its size is just nice for us to swim while enjoying the view. The owner of the hotel, Dr Chew, upgraded our room twice, for free! He gave us sea view room next to the swimming pool!
