  I really don't know where to begin with the all the compliments this resort deserves. From our arrival to our departure, my husband and I were overwhelmed with the staffs hospitality, we were made to feel very special and part of the Rasas family. A great spot in the city of Georgetown and lots of different options at the one hotel for room types from conventional rooms to 2 bed apartments.   This is the second time I stayed at Hard Rock Hotel Penang. Was with three other friends and we checked into two adjoining hill view rooms on the 5th floor. The view was not as great as the sea view rooms and there were no balconies but it cost a lot less too during the peak holiday season so no complains. The check-in was quick (less than 5 minu... wat mensen zeggen » tes) and hassle-free despite the throngs of people. This being the hill view rooms, it was also alot quieter in the evening. Visited the Hard Rock Caf - The staff was not only friendly but helpful. We were in Penang with another family and my parents and did not arrange anything with the hotel in advance. There were no van rentals available but the concierge tried and made a few phone calls for us and did manage to one for us. We were really grateful to them for even trying. The pool was fabulous and my children (9, 5 and 4) absolutely LOVED it. We booked a King's Double room and was pleasantly surprised when HRH upgraded us to a suite which is

The owner of the hotel, Dr Chew, upgraded our room twice, for free! He gave us sea view room next to the swimming pool!
