  it was clean and tidy place. breakfast it is ok, onsen inside of hotel is relaxing after a tiring day you can have relax there/if you know how to get there it is ok but if you dont it can be difficult.in hakone you can take a hakona day pass which you can use on buses cablecars and ropeway it is very convient /to go to hotel : TAKE A HAKONE TOZAN ... wat mensen zeggen » BUS ,GET OFF KOWAKIEN STOP,WHEN YOU GET OFF YOU WILL SEE YUNESSUN SPA IN FRONT OF BUS STOP, GO THERE AND ASK BB PENSION. THEY HAVE FREE SHUTTLE TO BB - The basic facilities provided are enough for budget travellers, like the hot water provided in every floor, nice pastries for breakfast including tea, coffee and juice. Share bathroom is very clean. The shutter bus provided is a plus as well. It is not easy to get dinner nearby so we took the advice from the other travellers, we got the bento or ate our dinner before we go back to the pension.

  it was my first time to Japan and this was a grat experience as very typical and not western - slipers, tatami mats, paper walls, really cute. The best of all - private onsen. - The Ryokan was very typical, and the hot springs were very relaxing. The owner had poor English but was very helpful

  Really felt at home here, the onsen was very relaxing and great they had both public and private bath options. We had both breakfasts (included) and dinners both nights we stayed and were excellent with much variety. It was close to the T bus stop and the ropeway. - That a really traditional Japanese place! The nature around it is excellent! And ... wat mensen zeggen » the have few onsens. You can order private time for free. Breakfast was also Japanese-stile. It was interesting experience. The stuff speak English well.

  Fuji-Hakone guesthouse is very popular and they were fully booked when I visited. Their staff are friendly and can speak English very well. 2 of them have been to Singapore. Their bath facilities are private and you can book the private onsen for half hour. Good to book early since it can be maxed out pretty quickly. Breakfast is an additional 800 yen, consisting of c - Loved the setting and the homely atmosphere at the guest house. There was only a double room available but wanted to see the area so much I booked which cost double the single price. When the staff found this out, they gave me free breakfast and use of the outdoor onsen for free which I did not expect. Very generous and would definitely stay again if visiting the sites at Hakone/

  Private baths were awesome, the view was amazing I couldn't believe what we got for the price. Rooms were large (for the first time in Japan) the staff were really friendly did i mention the view? also make sure yo go to the small bar at the sister-hotel down the road, good cheap dinners and a real cozy atmosphere. get there early to avoid the smo... wat mensen zeggen » kers. - The hospitality and service were excellent. We loved the view from the room and the locality of the hotel. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent value for money and allowed us to experience traditional Japanese cuisine.

  The food and accommodations were excellent. The outdoor hot spring was a bit small, but they give you a map to other outdoor hot springs nearby that you can also use for free. - Their Kaiseki is awesome and staff are so friendlyand very helpful. Onsen is very nice and private.
