  very charming hotel in the heart of old trieste, close to the pedestrian zone full of interesting shops and good local restaurants. the place is run by a very friendly and very helpfull family with an eclectic taste for furniture, creating a unique timeless style, at the same time classic and very contemporary. i can only highly recommend this pla... wat mensen zeggen » ce for people who know how to appreciate the simplicity of elegance and beauty. breakfast is for italian standarts very generous and rich in variety. - Everything. Trieste is a beautiful town and this is a beautiful place. The room I had was large, thoughtfully decorated and extremely comfortable. The location was brilliant, the staff were lovely, breakfast was beautiful and featured local produce, there's a crazy lovely naughty puppy dog who was great, it's across the road from a lovely osteria called Marise (go!)... I would love to stay in this place forever. I wish all hotels were like this.

  The hosts were wonderful--very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Building and facilities were beautiful and charming. Room was basic but extremely clean and tastefully decorated. The included breakfast was fabulous. We also ate supper at the restaurant. The food was average but the service, price and convenience of it was exceptional. Would definitely stay there again - To say that the owners/operators of this hotel were kind, helpful, knowledgeable, respectful, considerate, and a joy to be around would be an understatement. They were absolutely wonderful and went well out of their way to assure our time there surpassed all our expectations. I am in love with the Banne area, and the warm feelings come mostly from staying at this B&B.

  Our mini apartment was spotless, a lot larger than expected, very well furnished, great facilities and had a larger than normal shower box. On our first night we were late in arriving and needed to get to the yacht club quickly so a taxi ride put us back just 8 euros. Also, it very very quiet at night. - It's a very pleasant hotel, with great apartments on the other side of the street with some shops, spotless clean,very quite, specious, equipped and stylish.The location is a bit away from the city center but in a 10 min walk you are their. Great breakfast too.

The location is brilliant - very near centre (5-10 min walk) and right opposite a nice cafe / bakery serving bread, pastries and coffee, that is open 24 hours!
