  Everything! Nicola was an exceptionally friendly host, and his family were wonderful even though their English was not as good as his. The castello and grounds were beautiful and the views from the tower room were literally breathtaking. This was probably the single best stay my wife and I have had in our lives. My wife had to hold back tears as w... wat mensen zeggen » e left. We cannot recommend this place highly enough! And be sure not to turn down the chance to have a meal at neighboring Le Pietre Vive for the cha - Great host, beautiful and rustic surroundings. The associated farmhouse restaurant was wonderful and breakfast was tasty and served as if you were in your grandmother's kitchen.

  We stayed here over Easter 2013 and unconditionally recommend to others. We enjoyed our stay immensely and even enjoyed the walk into Siena which only took about 30 minutes (one way). Our host was very friendly and accommodating, recommending side trips and restaurants for us (see my other reviews if interested), everything recommended met expecta... wat mensen zeggen » tions. He goes out of his way to please and always goes the extra mile putting guests first at all times. He also makes a fantastic Expresso (refill a - The owner of the house is very kind and obliging...waited for us even when we were late on our way, without any problem and even we arrived at midnight, he welcomed us very pleasantly and gave us some good advices about Siena (including free parking). The room was really nice furnished and clean. Excellent breakfast...especially the cakes. The house is on the quiet surburb of Siena, very good position for discovering Siena :) We definitely recomend this place...no doubts!

The small washing machine in our unit is a great feature for travel - The B&B Duomo is perhaps the best place that I have ever stayed in Siena - pure magic. The staff and support you receive (including help with parking your vehicle in the medieval city of Siena) was a godsend. We had the apartment with the twin beds with full use of the courtyard, Apt 3 across from their reception area. Perfect accommodations, clean, quiet, and reasonable.   I spent 3 nights in this b&b. The room was very stylish and comfortable. It had everything we needed - including toothpaste when we ran out of our own. The bed was very comfortable, crisp and romantic with dreamy gauze on the 4 posts. We were here May 24th - 27th. The weather was quite cool fo - A wonderful B&B in an ancient building near the Duomo. Spotlessly clean and modern rooms with ensuite bathrooms. My husband and I and two friends stayed in 2 of its 3 rooms. Large pleasant "dining room" where our "host" Alberto set out a lovely breakfast with a variety of fruit, meats, cheeses, eggs, yogurt, cakes and pastries, etc., and made us coffee and tea.   This is probably the only residence offering free parking within walking distance to city centre. Spatious appartement for 4 people, spotless clean, quiet. Friendly staff.
