We were exceptionally pleased with the flexibility of the owner as we
arrived later than planned and she guided us right to the hotel. Cinzia
was actually willing to drive down, meet us and lead us up if we needed
her to. Besides being wonderfully accommodating, she also made several
great suggestions for dining and shopping. Cinzia was so friendly she
immediately made us feel right at home. A terrific experience and well
worth the trip.

The Spiga d'Oro was a great farmhouse in the heart of Tuscany. It was conveniently located so that we were able to do some wonderful day trips within a reasonable drive: Florence, Arezzo, Siena, Cortona, Montepuliciano. The accommodations were great. Our kitchen was well-equipped and they offered a welcome basket of essential provisions; however there was a very nice little grocers in a small town about 1Km away if needed. accommodating. They graciously made a last minute change to our
reservations and when we arrived late with no supper, they brought fruit

This Villa Apartments gets a perfect score plus one for me. The couple owners, Marco and Alessandra (the architect and decorator of the villa) were very friendly, sending us champagnes, croissants and tiramisu for our party of 12. Marco is a tennis pro, who also tends to the beautiful gardens and olive farm. From the look of the villa, one will know that they paid attention to every detail.

We had a little 'house' (probably well converted garage) in the garden, which was delightful. It also contained a mini kitchen. We were able to park the car just in front of this in the garden. Good quality and very 'civilised' breakfast. Longish, but good, walk into town.

What an amazing B&B! A little hard to find but when you get through the gates the 1920 villa is very welcoming. Great staff, and simply amazing suite! High ceilings, beautiful tile, and a kitchen/sitting area overlooking the gardens! Breakfast was great and they asked us about dietary concerns. Would love to go back!
