We stayed at 5 different places during our 10-day Italy trip and La Compagnia is definitely our favourite! It's beautiful, new, spotless, well-equipped and on top of it all, the service was fantastic.

Located in the heart of the Chianti region. Newly built complex of apartments, our apartment ('Polizziano') had a well sized kitchen/living room and a separate bedroom. Everything was tastefully furnished and in immaculate condition. It also included a well-sized balcony which was covered by the balcony above, a definite plus when we had a thunderstorm. We were exceptionally pleased with the flexibility of the owner as we
arrived later than planned and she guided us right to the hotel. Cinzia
was actually willing to drive down, meet us and lead us up if we needed
her to. Besides being wonderfully accommodating, she also made several
great suggestions for dining and shopping. Cinzia was so friendly she
immediately made us feel right at home. A terrific experience and well
worth the trip.

The Spiga d'Oro was a great farmhouse in the heart of Tuscany. It was conveniently located so that we were able to do some wonderful day trips within a reasonable drive: Florence, Arezzo, Siena, Cortona, Montepuliciano. The accommodations were great. What an amazing B&B! A little hard to find but when you get through the gates the 1920 villa is very welcoming. Great staff, and simply amazing suite! High ceilings, beautiful tile, and a kitchen/sitting area overlooking the gardens! Breakfast was great and they asked us about dietary concerns. Would love to go back!
