  The location and the design of the hotel was fantastic. We liked how the hotel was almost brand new (having been recently restored), yet had been with the same family for a few generations. The restoration had obviously been completed very tastefully, with many original features having been retained, yet having discreet modern amenities and eco-fr... wat mensen zeggen » iendly features. The property did not feel like a hotel at all - it felt more like a family home, lovingly restored, and open to the discerning public - A fantastic renovation of beautiful historic buildings by the owners,the finishes are a compliment to their obvious eye for design by blending new with old. Bed very comfortable and linen pristine. Our room offered stunning views of the surrounding countryside with Sienna in the distance. The welcome offered to us on arrival was fantastic without being over the top and we were relaxing in our room no more than 5 minutes after parking the car. The pool sits on a terrace below the main buildings

  This is a wonderful accommodation. The views are stunning, and the rooms are really really excellent. There are many small details which leave a lasting memory: bedding and towels beautifully monogrammed with the villa's logo, dressing gowns carefully placed in antique wardrobes, fruit and linen napkins left for a snack, personally wrapped slipper... wat mensen zeggen » s, and....the most exquisite breakfast imaginable. Local preserved meats, excellent cheeses, yoghurts on ice, fresh bread, fine sweet pastries...undou - Absolutely loved this place. Big room with a fantastic bed. Nice bathroom and it was all very clean. Hotel is nice and isolated, but there is a great restaurant just a short walk away. Didn't use the pool or hot tub due to the weather, but they both looked decent. If you are out here at the right time of year, and walking back from the restaurant at night, keep your eyes peeled for fireflies. Amazing

  Niets is te gek voor dit echtpaar! Top accomodatie, schoon, ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Umbretta en Roberto zetten ook de kookmuts op, geweldig bij hun gegeten. Als je op zoek bent naar rust is dit de bestemming, maar ook voor uitstapjes naar poppi, san marino, arezzo en florence. Ombretta and Roberto were the perfect hosts and couldn't do enough to help. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The accomodation was superb as were all the shared facilities. Our two young kids loved the place and were in the pool every day. The surrounding area was a delight with lots of places to explore like Poppi, Stia and Consuma. The bigger draw cards like - Wow what an amazing place. It is very remote in the Tuscan mountains but just what we needed after a few days in busy Rome. The nearest shop is a 20 min drive away. But we loved it as it was so peaceful and relaxing. The owners are so friendly and make you feel at home. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable only downside was no oven but we managed. My kids 2 and 7 loved the pool, the playground and the wooded areas with a tree house. Poppi castle is well worth a visit we traveled to F

  We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in il Molino. Heel gastvrij echtpaar. Lekker ontbijt. Iedere ochtend werden we weer met andere lekkere dingen verwend. Heel rustig gelegen op een 5tal km van Arezzo. Na onze dagelijkse uitstapjes was het telkens weer heerlijk om in de tuin bij het zwembad te ontspannen. Een echte aanrader!   Het ontvangst was fantastisch! We waren op huwelijksreis en ontvingen zelfs een fles prosecco! Het appartementje was heel proper en voorzien van alle benodigdheden. Ook het zwembad was zeer netjes onderhouden, alsook de tuin(en) rondom. In de tuin onder de appartementen staan tafeltjes en stoeltjes zodat je buiten kan eten of iets drinken. We hebb... wat mensen zeggen » en echt genoten van ons verblijf, een aanrader!! - Eigenaren en personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Echt de moeite waard om er te verblijven!   We stayed at Villa Cora in July which was a pretty hot season in Florence. And Villa Cora has an amazing pool area which is a huge advantage among the best hotels in Florence. Chill by the pool after a great day at the museums. It's just fantastic. Staff is professional. Food is good. Free shutle bus takes you to the center of Florence and back e... wat mensen zeggen » very 30 minutes. And it is only a 5 minutes drive to the old city, so the location is the best. One of the best hotels we have ever been. And believe - The weekend spent at Hotel Villa Cora was a great experience. The beauty of the building, the attention to details and privacy you get are good reasons to go back. The services, professionalism and kindness of the staff was something we also enjoyed. The hotel is close enough to the center (if you are not used to always be in the car) and they also offer a shuttle which we took on the way back in the evening. Great stay in a beautiful place.
