A fantastic renovation of beautiful historic buildings by the owners,the finishes are a compliment to their obvious eye for design by blending new with old. Bed very comfortable and linen pristine. Our room offered stunning views of the surrounding countryside with Sienna in the distance.
The welcome offered to us on arrival was fantastic without being over the top and we were relaxing in our room no more than 5 minutes after parking the car. The pool sits on a terrace below the main buildings

The surrounding area was a delight with lots of places to explore like Poppi, Stia and Consuma. The bigger draw cards like -
Wow what an amazing place. It is very remote in the Tuscan mountains but just what we needed after a few days in busy Rome. The nearest shop is a 20 min drive away. But we loved it as it was so peaceful and relaxing. The owners are so friendly and make you feel at home. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable only downside was no oven but we managed. My kids 2 and 7 loved the pool, the playground and the wooded areas with a tree house. Poppi castle is well worth a visit we traveled to F

Absolutely loved this place. Big room with a fantastic bed. Nice bathroom and it was all very clean. Hotel is nice and isolated, but there is a great restaurant just a short walk away. Didn't use the pool or hot tub due to the weather, but they both looked decent. If you are out here at the right time of year, and walking back from the restaurant at night, keep your eyes peeled for fireflies. Amazing

The hotel, its acres of gardens and spa are all absolutely exquisite.
There is a superb swimming pool with glorious views over Tuscany. It all feels quiet as there are so few rooms.
The staff are all charming and very unstuffy for such a high end hotel.

When we came in the evening, we thought that we are in the middle of nowhere. But when we wake up in the morning we fall in love in this place.The house was beautiful, accommodation comfort and clean, garden with trees and flowers, beautiful pool and very very calm. There is a restorant near the Sensano (50 metars) where we have grate dinners. Beautiful place where if we have a chance, we will get back for sure. -
The Relais is run by two lovely sisters who went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The location is perfect with nice views and right in between Volterra & San Gimignano. Free wifi. One laundry for free and one spa treatment for free! And finally a local bottle of rosé to welcome us.

The weekend spent at Hotel Villa Cora was a great experience. The beauty of the building, the attention to details and privacy you get are good reasons to go back. The services, professionalism and kindness of the staff was something we also enjoyed.
The hotel is close enough to the center (if you are not used to always be in the car) and they also offer a shuttle which we took on the way back in the evening.
