Het was zeer aangenaam vertoeven in deze rustig gelegen b&b. De eigenaars waren super vriendelijk, het ontbijt zeer verzorgd en uitgebreid. Hun lokaal gemaakte producten smaakten heerlijk. Het was de ideale uitvalsbasis om West Sicilië te ontdekken ook dank zij de vele tips van de eigenaars. -

What we read in other comments was definitely true. The appartement was excellent and very clean and the hosts Maurizio and Cettina very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really great, 5 jellies, fresh bread and Mortadella/prosciutto juices and Sicilian icecream (Granita)! Nicolosi is a cosy village to stay. Close to Etna and Catania. I (67 yrs) was travelling with my God daughter (29) who has cerebral palsy. All the staff treated her with respect and good humour and indulged her attempts to speak Italian, she has difficulty speaking English! Nothing was too much trouble and when an incident occurred that necessitated a change of bedding, I was assure it was "no problem". The apartment was more than I expected, beautifully appointed and scrupulously clean. A truly wonderful stay.

What a delightful surprise this was, from when Sara first came out to
greet us til she saw us off. This is a family-run hotel and they all
were pleasant and worked to make our one night stay very enjoyable.
We'd originally thought we might go to town for dinner but instead
decided to dine there and it was a delicious experience. We got the full
dinner, which was many courses of home-baked foods we had not tried
before, a great local wine and their own cherries. Their property

It was a familiar and lovely welcome in the residence. The hoteliers, Carmen and Vincenzo, are more than friendly! Vincenzo picked us up from the ferry and Carmen showed us around the residence. It is a wonderful site a few steps away from main street and port with a fantastic sea view. The rooms have a proper size and are modern and clean. The bad is sooo comfortable.
We had a perfect one-week stay in “Le Terrazze”, almost felt like home, especially because of the nice (English speaking) hote
