We had an early morning departure flight and were so pleased that our driver, arranged by the staff, was ready at 4:30 AM.   Overall we had a nice 5 day's stay at the hotel. The Island is still pretty and unspoilt and there are some small rocky beaches. Positive is the friendly staff and serving a good breakfast.   We loved it here. The town of Nicolosi is welcoming and friendly, as is the B&B, really a small apartment. Shop at the butcher for some good Scicilan meat and sausages and pick up some fresh vegetables and wine from a barrel, at a friendly vendor and go back to the B&B to cook in the little kitchen. The house is ancient but well res - What we read in other comments was definitely true. The appartement was excellent and very clean and the hosts Maurizio and Cettina very friendly and helpful. The only one with a private beach, it was just great to start our trip there. For the boys they even could use a kayak which they enjoyed. Breakfast was amazing when comparing with Italy standards.

The room was superb. - I had high expectations for this hotel, but we were still blown away by the conscientiousness of the staff, attention to detail in the rooms, and overall sense of precision. And a great view of Etna, too!
