The staff were extremely helpful and sympathetic. We had a small problem with a key, and they were eager to sort it out very quickly. parking shared with the rest of the gated community which seemed to be
safe. The guesthouse has a lift as well and it was very good considering
the cheap price we payed. Wifi was also available, italian breakfast in

Wij hadden een hele ruime, leuk ingerichte en schone kamer. De badkamer was ook goed met een ruime douche. Het ontbijt vonden wij uitgebreid genoeg. Het zwembad en de omgeving daarom heen was echt prachtig! Het resort is mooi ingedeeld en ligt heel mooi gelegen. Dichtbij de vallei van de tempels en de kust. De eigenaresse spreekt een beetje engels

We used the shuttle service to get from the airport to the Residenza which suited us well. The place was very clean and modern. The bathroom for the room is not actually connected to the room but across the hall. This isn't a big deal as there are only about 4 rooms in the hall. The minibar is cheap and well stocked. There is a supermarket just around the corner as well as some nice restaurants and an information centre. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful with good English. They gave

The hotel Is owned by Enrico, who took care himself about everything during our stay. The room was very clean, bed very comfortable and hot cookies that were made just a few minutes before breakfast were just amazing with cappuccino.
We were helped with taxi from airport and excellent transfer service to the Ferry in the morning. Will surely recommend this place to all travelers. Nick.

The place was amazingly clean, breakfast was good, just lacking in fruits, friendly and helpful staff, gym across the street played loud music but stopped around 10:30 or 11pm. View of Etna from balcony and breakfast terrace was absolutely spectacular! A lovely old palazzo in the heart of Modica, technically a B&B but feels like a small hotel. A very different place to stay, full of character but skilfully adapted by the owners to provide modern facilities whilst retaining the charm and heritage of a terrific old building. And a cracking, and very reasonably priced, little osteria fifty metres across the road. Lovely, friendly and incredibly helpful owners who made us feel very much at home. A really nice, and unusual, place to stay.

Il Carmine is very conveniently located in a quiet piazza about 200m from the centre of the the old hilltop town of Erice. The town itself is very busy with tourists so this was a big help. The charcter of the hotel derived a lot from its past as a monastery. The rooms were very clean if a bit austere but that's exactly what I expected. The staff were reserved but charming.
