  The location of the Hotel was great - just 15min walk to Ibla and in the center of all other attractions of Ragusa, opposite to the cathedral. The Hotel it self is in one of the old palaces. The service was great, especially the receptionist Michele, who was at our disposal for any questions or recommendations. Also, we have forgot on little prese... wat mensen zeggen » nt in the Ibla, and the Hotel made an extra step and went to the Ibla to search for it. We truly recommend this wonderful Hotel, and will visit again - The hotel is up hill on new Ragusa area. The service is 5 stars, breakfast is good, rooms are very cute and well decorated, very romantic. We were there just for 1 night and were very impressed with the quality of service. The hotel was a antique house of upscale family from old times turned into a hotel. It is very charming and you can walk around the hotel and imagine how life used to be in the past in that house.

  This "grande dame" of a hotel, while somewhat dated in appearance, is in a fabulous location right on the waterfront in Ortigia - the historic center of Siracusa. Parking is easy and reasonable-a huge plus if you're driving. The rooms aren't huge, but are quite comfortable; housekeeping standards are excellent. The great staff is professional, - Breakfast on the warm, sunny roof lookinf at the harbour. Drinks up there until mid to late evening. The friendly staff. Largish room with sea view. Easy to get to and pay car park wwas handy. Lots of great food vry nearby. Ortigia is the best part of town.

  I'm not much of a golf or spa person; I picked the place mainly on location and having an outdoor pool. The pool or should I say pools is great. Very big, so you can get a real swim even if there are kids cavorting around, and there's a longer separate pool if you really want to pound along. Be aware that it is not v close to any town and it can be hard to find, even with a satnav. - the weather, beautiful designed hotel

  The staff were absolutely brilliant they could not do enough for you, the presentation of all food was excellent, the pool area was very good and clean beautiful areas amongst the rocks to sunbathe along with the beach area too so quite a few choices for swimming and sunbathing - Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The private beech was wo... wat mensen zeggen » rth the stay alone. Also had a good pool and a rock cliff cares with lovely views of Syracuse. Recommend renting a car to get to this place as it is out n the countryside
