  The Poseidonia Mare has got to be one of the best kept secrets in all of Italy! It seems as though everytime I write reviews about the places I have stayed, everyone catches on and then when i want to go again, it's filled up! The sister Sofia is probably one of the best cooks in all - We stayed at this hotel in mid September and at the end of the season so it was quite quiet. The breakfasts and evening meals were excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful. We stayed only for 2 nights but we had the chance to take part to a traditional Ischian evening - a very relaxing and happy atmosphere. Free shuttle bus to the beach. Transfer to the ferry very early in the morning - not expensive.   Dear travellers, what follows is a sincere comment after having spent an unforgettable week at the Amalfi Coast by the Holidays Fico d'India hotel. As soon as you get there, Pino (the owner) and his family give you a warm welcome and you immediately feel at home. All people are professional, loyal, sincere, helpful,..and you will discover that da... wat mensen zeggen » y by day until the moment you leave the hotel to go back home. Rooms: there are not so many rooms but all are really nice, always clean and they are e - Pino, the owner and his family are fantastic, they would answer any question with smile and would do ! anything you ask for your best satisfaction. They are staying in the hotel 24 hours and always available. Pino welcomes us with a drink and his wife sent us with a package including lemons from the garden and "Confettura di limoni" that's what I called great hospitality. The room is beautiful and perfectly maintained. The hotel is easily accessible by car and there is plenty of parking spots.I

Usage of the wellness area (for 2!) is only 10 euro, well worth it.   Uitstekend verblijf om Napels en omgeving te verkennen. Prachtige B&B met uitstekend ontbijt in een mooie oude villa. Ideale ligging t.o.v. station voor bezoek aan Napels-stad. Parking voor de auto op de binnenkoer. Uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor de streek rond Napels ( Vesuvius, Pompeji, Sorrento,...) Een echte aanrader. - De locatie is perf... wat mensen zeggen » ect ten opzichte van het vliegveld van Napels. Ook de Vesuvius en Pompei zijn goed te bereiken met de trein, wat het ideaal maakt voor uitstapjes. Het landhuis is prachtig, beschikt over een enorme tuin en heeft een bijzondere uitstraling (en historie). Verder is het personeel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
