  We travel frequently and are discerning about facilities, however I have to say that this is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in, except for a few minor problems due to the time of year, immediately after the New Year. - This is the loveliest hotel I have ever stayed in.   Agree with all the nice things said! We arrived mid-afternoon, were welcomed by Roberto, who showed us around and gave us really helpful information to get down to the Hercuaneum Roman site. We were quite tired when we got back and while talking about possible restaurants, Patrizia suggested that we stay in and have a pizza instead!
