The staff at reception went out of their way to help us check the details of the next leg of our journey and the friendliness we received left us with just a desire to return soon.   Very hospitable hosts, very good accommodation across the street from their restaurant, where excellent breakfasts were served. It was a good experience to stay in the centre of Matera.   Amazing cave room - absolutely HUGE! Believe this was the best room and it certainly had the wow factor and provided a unique experience. Lovely outside terrace too.Staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious and generous. De-humidifiers essential though - it had rained and the humidity in the room was quite high but what do ... wat mensen zeggen » you expect from a cave! A fabulous experience and would highly recommend a trip to this amazing place. - The location in the centre of Sassi is perfect. The amenities were excellent, we did not want for anything and outstanding views right in front of the Hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our thanks especially go to Chiara and Cinzia.

  De locatie is perfect. Een paar min. Lopen van het historisch centrum ! Aardige eigenaresse. Mooie moderne kamer met badkamer. - Our host Sylvia was very welcoming and when we got lost driving into Matera she came to get us in her car. The room was large with tasteful furnishings, two big windows and an elegant bathroom. We were able to use the printer to get maps for our onward journey, Sylvia and her sister Eleonora were more than helpful. Breakfast was served in a communal kitchen area which was also ava - This is one of the best BB's we ever stayed. The room was very convenient, quiet and nicely decorated. The location is just perfect in the heart of Matera with a walking distance to all interesting places, but also 10 minutes walk to the train station and to the airport bus. The owner is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is good and nicely served.
