  This is the second time I've stayed at Casa di Alfredo and I can never believe that this place is considered a hostel and not a hotel! It is impeccably clean, and beautifully furnished. It is situated in a historic building, with frescoed ceilings and big bright windows. Seriously, the breakfast is what brought me back. It is own - Location, clean, lovely room with high double doors to pretty garden, nice breakfast in friendly arrangement. Good value.

The room was sparse of decorations; but clean, neat and livable. It is an easy 20 minute walk downhill from the central train station with luggage. Plan for the uphill return trip if you don't take luggage. And it is within easy walk of the old city. We concluded that this is an excellent value for money and will likely stay here aga

  The apartment that we had had two double rooms, a shared bathroom (with shower rather than bath) and a well fitted kitchen/diner. The diner had a gas hob, oven, fridge/freezer and a washing machine - all of high quality. A well located, well equipped and well looked after apar - We enjoyed everything at the apartment, the view was amazing and the apartment was well equipped and very clean. We were welcomed by Roberta, a colleague to Ennio, who was SO nice and wonderful. She had stayed up way after midnight to let us in, and she was so kind a funny to talk to. The steps up to the place is of course hard, but what do you expect when renting a place on 4th floor – just enjoy the old building!   Dennis was at all times very concerned that all was well and that we were happy. He was a mine of information about Siena and surrounds and it was as good as having our own information centre. We would recommend the hotel to anyone. - The staff was very welcoming, especially Dennis. He was very helpful and kind. He also speaks very good English. The room was very clean and lovely. The hotel is very close to the city centre and also to the main bus station. The room was quiet. The breakfast was great, they served any type of coffe or tea. The price was very fair. All in all, we would recommend this place to everyone.
