  An amazing place. The room was spacious and luxurious. There was a desk, a comfy chair, a very comfy bed, a minibar with local products and a chandelier! I was not disturbed by noise from outside (the room was facing a side road) or from inside. I've lived and travelled in Italy and breakfasts are not usually anything to rave about. This was fab. There was a - The most importantthings your going to want to find in a b&b are the room and the breakfast. Our room was great. It was large and beautiful. And the breakfast was always great too with homemade breads and yogurt and other options it was great. The location is also excellent only being a few minutes from the train station and duomo. Finally the cleaning lady was excellent every day we came back to a very clean room and fresh towels.

  We had a great time at Residenza Gambrinus. Since there was the cycling world championships during our stay, many streets in the city center were blocked. The owner of the hotel met us outside the city center and guided us directly to a central garage where we could leave our car during the stay. Then he helped us bringing our luggage to the Resid... wat mensen zeggen » enza. That was very, very helpful and we really appreciated it. Arriving at the Residenza, we realized how central the hotel really is - just 200 mete - A perfect location to see Florence as it was in the centre for shopping and sightseeing. Extremely clean with modern fittings and nothing was too much trouble for the host . It was a bit tricky finding the location and bags have to be taken up I flight of stairs in order to reach the lift . The concierge is only there for limited hours.. But none of this worried us as the location and standard of facilities was well worth it .

  I give Florence Chic a good review. The bed was very comfortable and was a double bed rather than two twins shoved together. The room was clean, and decorated nicely. The host couple were very helpful and when we needed a taxi at 5am, they arranged the taxi the day before and also they prepared us an early breakfast for us on our departure day. The location was excellent, only about a 5 minute walk from the Duomo or Ponte Vecc - We visited Florence for 2 days as a wedding anniversary with my wife. As we stepped in the b&b immediately we had an upgrade to a very chic room, spacious and with all the amenities plus free wifi. The b&b is centrally located and all you need is strength to go around and visit this "museum" city. I would definitely come back to Florence Chic for the lovely breakfast (your choco croissant is perfect). Mille Grazie Steliana e Stefano.

  Perfect location. Crawling distance to the Duomo. In the heart of Florence. Loved Lorenzo and his mom Barbara. Very clean, very comfortable and included a lovely self serve breakfast. Wi-Fi was also good. We entered through an unassuming doorway, up a tiny old exposed elevator to a welcoming B&B on the forth floor. Very quaint! We spoke in Italian, not sure about his other language skills. It is located in the city center, 1 minute from the dom. Breakfast is the simplest Italian - a croissant with a cappuccino at a nearby bar. Pet friendly.

  The location - just round the corner from the Duomo: from the terrace there was a clear view to the Duomo, Baptistry and the Campanile. The room was very good, well furnished and with plenty of space. The staff couldn't have been more helpful; they suggested possible places to eat - we only went to one of them, which was so outstanding (and good v... wat mensen zeggen » alue) that we went back. - Silvia who we met on arrival was wonderful helping us with parking arrangements for our car . She made reservations for us at a wonderful restaurant on the opposite side of the Arno river where we had the best meal in Florence. Excellent cappuccino for Breakfast on the terrace facing the Duomo wow what a view. The location is absolutely fantastic
