  I booked a double room for just 2 pax initially but one day before arrival 2 more friends decided to join us. Luckily our room has two sofa beds, so able to accommodate 4 of us. Stayed there for just one night, we checked in late as our train was delayed. Nevertheless, the staff of Novella House, Francesco made the effort to call and check if we a... wat mensen zeggen » re arriving. It’s a pity that we only had a very short stay in Florence, it will be nice if we are able to stay few more nights in Novella House. Will - Novella House is renovated 1800s apartment house with original frescos on the ceilings. It is impossible to roll your luggage into the hotel but fortunately the owner took our bags up into the room (there is a small lift). Our room was spacious with a decent bed; there was a sitting area for tea and coffee, but the bathroom was so tiny, it had a foldaway shower. The room itself is quiet but outside the window you have the typical Italian street noise, maybe more so as there is a boarding house

The location was outstanding - easy access to all of Florence. And the jacuzzi was so relaxing after days filled with walking. If you're debating whether or not to spend extra money on the room with the jacuzzi - do it!

  The owner was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay more comfortable, recommending excellent local restaurants and helping us find our way around. The location was unbelievable (the Duomo was at the end of the street and everywhere else was easily accessible, including the train station- 3mins walk max) an... wat mensen zeggen » d the price we paid for 7 nights was astoundingly cheap (we calculated it ourselves to make sure we had enough and it was much cheaper than our estima - Excellent position. Easy to find, close to the train/bus station and just 1 minute walk from the Duomo. Great terrace view, in summer should be more useful as it rained during our stay in Florence the woman at the reception was very kind and helpful. She let us leave the luggage and arranged our check-in even if we weren't able to meet her as arrived. After all for such a price and a strategic position it's a really good choice for those who care about the money

  we had a 3 bed room which was very big for Florence and nicely decorated, big bathroom too. the administrator friendly, he recommended a very nice restaurant( expensive but worth the money) . - decoration is very nice. personal is very friendly and intimate. room is comfortable, bathroom is also big.
