  Brendan was very welcoming and helped us to settle in well. Our overnight stay was very enjoyable with a hearty breakfast to start the day. Our host was most obliging with information.   Eileen and Michael were welcoming from the first moment we walked through the door. Eileen made afternoon tea for us . The breakfasts were superb. The room we had was #4 and was beautifully decorated. Michael gave us a lift to the bus staion when we left and there was a bus stop just acrossw the street, the #202. Would highly recommend this bed and breakfast - Our host Eileen was a real gem - she made sure we had everything we needed and even offered to drop us off in the city (not sure if this is usual or not!). She supplied us with a full buffet breakfast in a beautiful dining room overlooking a garden, a lovely way to start the day. Blackrock is not right in the centre of Cork but the city is easily accessible by car (10 mins drive) or by bus - there is a bus stop right outside the accommodation.

  Either letsbookhotel.com made an error in booking the room or i did, but the room was only booked for one person somehow instead for 2 persons. The host, Matt, was greatly helpful about it and he worked with us by providing us a second pull in bed in the room even though he was completely booked. He was extremely helpful and served a great breakfa... wat mensen zeggen » st. - I can't praise Lisadell house highly enough. Upon arrival we were given the warmest and friendliest of greetings which instantly put us at ease. The room was bright, clean and warm. Nice little ensuite too. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and served with a bit of banter. Excellent value for money and we would absolutely stay there again.

  A real home away from home. The owners were lovely - friendly, helpful, and very knowledgable about the surrounding area. I didn't have a plan for my two days in Cork, however they were able to suggest destinations, restaurants, attractions, and possible itineraries that more than filled in my time. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Cork, and hope I can make it back one day. - The owners of this b&b are such lovely people. Both of them couldn't do enough for me. I was there for an interview and the lady of the house took me to my destination without been asked. I will definitely be returning next time I go to Cork. I definitely recommend this B&B.

  We recently had a great stay at Kent House. Lorraine & John are the perfect hosts. Lorraine was so helpful with suggestions on where to go and how to get there. Our bed and bathrooms were spacious and breakfast was delicious. We were made to feel part of the family. Thanks for a wonderful stay they were the perfect hosts. - Really liked the personal interaction with the hosts/owners who were very generous with helpful travel tips, advice and recommendations. It was the only bedroom on our trip that had a powerboard close to a mirror and a writing table which meant you could plug in your computer, recharge your mobile and use the hair-straightener at the same time!
