  Exceptional staff and service. Very well trained and knowledgeable. Butler service was perfect. The view from our room was great as well. We could see the Taj Lake Palace, the City Palace and the Jag Mandir straight ahead. The location is superb, the ambience so romantic, the service is top-notch, the food is great (the chef sent us complimentary dishes that were just delicious!), the views from our room (upgraded to a lake view) were incredible... We travel a lot all over the world, but it will be very hard to top the Taj Lake Palace hotel!! We celebrated our wedding anniversary during our stay and the hotel couldn't do enough for us. It was the most romantic experience and we wished we could have stayed longer. Spa treatments were excellent, the food delicious and our delightful waitress, Rose made it very special. Altogether sheer perfection.

And very trustworthy, which is priceless in this city where everyone has a hustle. I left my cell phone charger in the room after checking out and they gave it to me when I came back to pick up my bags. The restaurant is expensive, but worth the amazing view.They left the lights on for us and we were able to talk by the seaside all night with our tea. We have been all over India, and we highly recommend Jagat Niwas Palace.
