  I can honestly say that the Oberoi Grand in Kolkata provides the best service we have ever experienced in a hotel (and we have stayed in many 5 star hotels all over the world.)   The location was good. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was good. Was stayed here for 6 nights. Just enjoyed even on the edge of Philine Cyclone.   The location of the hotel is just perfect. The Mall is in walking distance (10-15 minutes) but "around the corner", which means that the surroundings of the hotel are completely quiet. The hotel is on the north-east side of the hill, with a breathtaking view on the high, snow-covered mountains (not on the side of the plain of Dehradun, where the v... wat mensen zeggen » iew is less spectacular). We had two rooms on the 3rd floor from which we could see the mountains. At dawn the panorama was even more fantastic. The r - Staff of the hotel was really excellent and quick about services. From a doorman to front office were really excellent. Driver, room service , house keeping all are well trained. @ rate of 3 star you can get a feel of 5 star. I would like to name front office team Nidhi and Priyanka these are excellent in work. My compliments to them.

  We were treated very nicely by the staff at Peerless Inn. And we got our room on arrival even though it was very early Sunday morning. Every one at the hotel was very helpful and kind to us. The Sonnet was wonderfully different, the staff were fantastically helpful, the rooms immaculate and the cost fair. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.   We had spent some time travelling around West Bengal for three weeks prior to our stay so the easy greeting and check in was great. All the staff that we spoke to seemed genuinely concerned about whether or not we were enjoying our stay.
