  What a beautiful place and amongst the best customer service we have ever experienced. Manilos and the staff here are so friendly and welcoming that the experience is great from start to finish. The cottages are lovely and the effort made on your first arrival at the actual accommodation is second to none. Wonderfully tranquil area perfect for wal... wat mensen zeggen » king and trekking. The food at the restaurant was delicious and great value - we ate there three times in two days (not breakfast) which is unknown fo - We particularly loved the food which was delicious for breakfast and dinnerthe three nights we stayed, everything freshly prepared with homemade jams, bread etc. and vegetables and herbs from the gardens. Our room was very comfortable with the facility to make coffee and watch the mountains, so relaxing! It is perfect place to walk, eat and relax. Zaros just a two minute drive away if you need supermarket or bank.

  The two storey maisonette we stayed in was amazing. Very well furnished and modern equipment. It has everything a family needs for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Host family was friendly and hospitable to us . It has a very good view of the Libyan Sea and lot of green around the maisonette. Stalos itself is great beach resort and located next to Chania and other great beaches in crete, and among the many many hotels at Stalos Maraks is on top.   Traditional Village Hospitality at its best! We were planning for a bit of a treat when we booked at Diktyan Villas and we were not to be disappointed. Though the place was a bit tricky to find in this cozy village, once we got to there we discovered the fabulous owners had taken every step to make sure we felt welcome.   Everything its great at Happy Cretan!!! We were the happiest tourists. The Chef, Mr.Giannis, its the best - he cooked excellent. In every evening he surprised us with a very tasty traditional Greek food. Also, many thanks to Mrs. Manias, Aspa, Dimitris and all the staff, because they managed to do our stay super!   This is the very best hotel! We toured Crete for 11 days and wished we had stayed here for more than 1 night.   Good place in the heart of old city, close to almost everything. Nice rooms, clean & quiet place. Perfect choice for those, who want to stay at Rethymno for a night or two - This was beautiful and the best place we have stayed yet. Location was fantastic and the staff great. The room was devine, large, well appointed and just beautiful.
