The location of the hotel was really ideal - It was just far enough outside of the city that we could walk to the beach in less than five minutes, and walk into the city in 20-30 minutes. Lovely private swimming pool that was kept spotless and never full.
Plenty of sunbeds and poolside chairs.
Breaskfast for 6euro (3 for kids) with plenty of options available
Snacks available at lunchtime - limited but good value.
Close proximity to beach - 2 minutes walk and a further beach at 5 minutes with more facilities.
Bus stop for Chania at the end of the road - cost 1euro 10 and run regularly.

The location is great (the sea is at 1km, Rethymnon is close too), and so is the pool! Manousos welcomes you very nicely and is here to help during your stay if you have any question. A really nice place to stay, whether you are a group of friends or a family. -

Maria was heel hartelijk, je voelde je meteen bij aankomst al welkom.

I would say that the cooking facilities, one large and one small hob is fine for preparing breakfast but it is adventurous to try and cook on this for the evening meal.

Everything. The apartment was really spacious, being able to store and prepare food in the kitchen was superb, the pool was beautiful and the design of the suites ingenious. The shower was strong, the air con great and the two balconies brilliant. Plus Maria herself was the very best of hosts, a lovely lady. We cannot wait to return - this was one of the best holidays we have had - we were able to totally relax and that was in large part due to how lucky we were to stay at Maria Suites.

The whole trip was just lovely and I wouldn't have changed a thing. My previously holiday-shy boyfriend loved everything about the holiday and especially the restaurant (Corinne Star) in the grounds of the hotel. It was the best of the restaurants we tried in both Kalamaki and Chania. The staff were very hard-working, warm and helpful. The beachside setting was beautiful, westward facing so you can enjoy the sunset while eating dinner at the poolside. Really hoping we can come back soon :)
