Rooms were well maintained and the owner was extremely helpful (i.e. directions, things to see, restaurants, etc) - The owner is very knowledgable and helpful - The staff, the location, the 'everything'!

The owners were so friendly and helpfull, served us coffee, cakes and specialities and wine. The pool was lovely and the whole place very clean.   One of those very unique places , lovely and very helpfull staff !!!, great breakfast, breathtaking view at the harbour, interesting history of hotel building, very close to many unique restaurants and cafes - right in the centre of the Old Chania. All nearby streets closed for town traffic . - It was perfect for our stay in Chania. The room wa... wat mensen zeggen » s delightful and the view from the roof terrace was very beautiful.   De ligging en de vriendelijke ontvangst - Thomais, the hostess, was the kindest, most helpful person I have encountered in my 50 years of travel. She brought my clothes to a laundromat; mailed a rare fruit specimen (legally) to the United States; and when I lost my cellphone, picked it up (after I left Crete) and mailed it home. The facilities at Madonna Studios are excellent, but the real difference is Thomais. - I liked the room which was big and bright, I could easily prepare my own dish as the cooker, coffee maker, kettle were provided or go to the tavern which was just across the street. the landlady was very helpful, kind and she even baked for us traditional cakes with cheese!! we had fresh flowers every day too.I stayed for 3 days and truly enjoyed it.

  My stay there was FANTASTIC!!!! Finally i could sleep so well after months!! I woke up and i had an amazing view of the blue Aegean see and the old venecian port and castle of the city!!! Simply amazing. The room was In the center of the old town (which is an awsome place to explore) and very very quiet! Now the hole house belongs to SOFIA the most polite, cheerfull and sympatic girl of Chania!! I - Fabulous location in the old town, listening to the sea. You are in real Crete here up a narrow road that is a visual delight. Sure the room is not a modern 5 star one but it really is a true Cretan place and entirely comfortable, clean and colourful. The rooms are excellent value and finally, but not least, Sofia and the other staff are exceedingly warm and helpful and jovial.   I stayed here for 8 days while travelling in early March, made to feel very welcome by Maria and Jannis. The apartment itself, very comfortable with very good facilities, including a small kitchenette with fridge, hot plate and small cooker. There are even laundry facilities too, very useful when travelling light. Excellent location, just about 1k... wat mensen zeggen » m west of Chania centre and about 75 metres from the nearest beach; 10-15 mins walk from the bus station, shopping and the old port. Car hire, bakers, - Maria, the owner is an absolute sweetheart! Don't have words enough to say how much we enjoyed the stay, her help and everything else. We were lost, so stopped in a corner and her son came to ask if I was looking for the apartment, we arrived very late, she received us with a big smile, gave us a map and explained everything. The apartment is lovely, we had the kitchen/living room, a bedroom the toilet and a balcony, there's air con, everything ver clean and nice. You can also borrow a parasol

  Three or us lived in big house with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms - it was realy good price in town for those, who are looking for somthing different compares to standart hotels. When we looks around, souch a big place, we started to plan our next stay here, but with familys. Nice designe, lots of comfort and realy big terrace with table and chairs and ... wat mensen zeggen » big umbrella - we had breakfast there. There is second tarrace and balcony with deck chair to have sunbath. Location in old town, near venice harbour - Modern accommodation in the heart of old town of Chania - perfect location! Hospitality and helpfulness of the owners is worth 10 points out of 10 as well. Thanks again for arranged evening in the village! We loved your villa and will recommend it anytime!
