  Aardig personeel , leuke hotelbar , kleinschalig - everything was nice and carefully thought out. the hotel is very pretty, in a gracious way, old fashioned but not "old" feeling. It's right n ear "Stuck" (sp.?) a famous art museum. The breakfast, included, was out of this world. The reception desk was nice and helpful, inc luding one young man who I could exchange jokes with. - The friendly and helpful staff, the Hotel is clean and perfect for a stay in Munich, we would not hesitate in recommending this Hotel.

  This is our second time staying at the Hotel an der Oper and we chose it again for its excellent location. It is located very near the Hofbrauhaus (and other eating & drinking places such as Augustiner and Hard Rock), which are all very easy to walk to. Also, it is only a 3-5 minute walk to Marienplatz (which is another good location). Most of the top sights of Munich are right nearby. The same is true of many of the best restaurants and shops. The staff was very helpful with reservations, including getting us excellent seats at a very popular performance of Rigoletto, which was right around the corner. They also selected and reserved a perfect restaurant for our first night in the city. Very nice!

  I am extremely positively impressed by the behavior of the entire staff who checked me in and checked me out of the hotel. Furthermore, the Hotel General Manager Mr. Kayhan Kilit handling with my requests and complaint was extremely impressive and more than satifactory.   This hotel is in line with other Marriott Hotels chain i have stayed world wide. Very large rooms tastefully furnished & comfortable beds. The rooms were air conditioned. The Breakfast spread was wow. I specifically like the concept of 'The Market' , which is a good replacement to the minibar.
