  St Omer is a lovely little town only about 30 minutes away from Calais, so if you want to get away from the bustle its a great place to relax outside a bar. Food and drink at budgets to meet all pockets. Ibis is really central. Basic chain hotel with secure parking right in the centre of the town. We had stayed here before and were not disappointed. We had problems with our TV and the hotel staff were really helpful and friendly and tried to fix it. When they couldn't they offered us another room but we said that we could live without the TV for one night!

  Used as stop over on my way to Calais. Staff friendly and helpful. Arrived late, they accommodated my vehicle and the car park is secure which was a bonus. The room was very clean and modern, unusual lay out, curtain covers wash and shower area, toilet separate room. Bonus, had kettle and hot drinks facility in room. Would stay here again, seen a few eating places ju - We just wanted a clean comfortable room for the night as we were on a driving trip to Sicily from UK.   We had a great time there. Everything was perfect, we booked a bungalow which was very clean and with all the facilities you need.   We felt comfortable and welcome as soon as we arrived at the hotel. There is not a large staff but they are very friendly and attentive. The evening meal was very good and breakfast was good and relaxed. The room was basic but the bed very comfortable. It is worth going for a weekend. - I suspect that many of the hotel's guest were, like us, stopping over on their way to or from uk given the location, which is well situated for both Calais and Boulogne. However, the staff could not have been more welcoming if we had been staying for a week. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable with satellite tv that had both French and English channels. We had an excellent meal in the busy restaurant that seemed to include a party of locals, which is always a good sign.

  Very comfortable hotel ideal for stop-over en route to Burgundy region. There was a good selection of tasty food on offer although we arrived just before the small restaurant closed. - Excellent friendly service, staff couldn't be more helpful.
