  The Chalet du Mont d'Arbois is an amazing place, in a great location close to the lifts and just above town. There is absolutely no way anyone can have a justifiable complaint about this place unless (a) you're a strident animal rights activist (as pretty much every guest is in head-to-toe fur), (b) you're wierded out by taxidermy (now I know why ... wat mensen zeggen » there are no sizeable animals in the French Alps -- they've all been killed and stuffed in this hotel), or (c) you don't have enough money to get in t - - beautiful and stylish 4* mountain hotel - very welcoming and helpful staff - free shuttle takes you to the ski slopes or the city center any time during the day - great sauna-swimming pool area

  Although not within walking distance to Chamonix the hotel is in its own unique position across from the Bossons Glacier so provides amazing views of that and Mt Blanc and the other mountains. An excellent BBQ is provided and microwave, also all the necessary crockery and cutlery. Plus a dishwasher so you don't need to do the dishes. Staff a - The owners were very friendly and provided extensive explanations. This small hotel is totally charming. One of the owners is an interior designer for chalets, and this place could certainly be called a model. There is so much attention to detail, that one always discovers something new to look at.   I really enjoyed the whole atmosphere of the hotel: its like we've been to fairy tale! The view on the Mountain from the balcony was just perfect! I liked the cleanliness, the super breakfast for only 15 euro! The staff is more than pleasant and stands ready to help 24/7! the smell of wood is everywhere and just adds extra positive into your holid... wat mensen zeggen » ays! The location is really great!!! - Lovely hotel within a few minuties walk of chamonix square. When pricing up numerous hotels this worked out fantastic value for money. The staff were all very friendly and the rooms were cleaned daily. Would stay again when I next plan a skiing holiday to Cham!
