Great central location 5 mins walk from L'Opera in very quiet side-street off busy boulevard.   Overall impression was of a family run hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Even though the hotel was old and could have done with a lick of paint, it was comfortable and secure.   I like the room which i stayed, is a garreteer at 6th floor, single bed. It has a long window and is very clean, feels like a home. Eventhough the toilet n bathroom are shared, but to my surprise, it's very clean. Breakfast is simple, but more than enough, i think is quick good. I would like to thank one of the hotel staff whose named "Ganett", he... wat mensen zeggen » helped me carried my huge luggage all the way to 6th floor, and he's super friendly. He brightened my Paris trip! I will stay here again if i'm going - The staff was friendly and welcoming. Location is excellent, food was standard but by no means anything to complain about. If you want a good work out ask for the rooms on the top floor! We enjoyed our stay, would recommend it and will try and stay there again when coming back to Paris.

  The location was great - a short walk from Gare du Nord, close to many good budget-minded cafes, and incredible jazz clubs. The view from the sixth floor (i.e. seventh) was wonderful. The staff were extremely helpful, and put up with our poor French (although some of them could switch into English). Free internet was great!   Kamer aan de straat gevraagd en gekregen + kamer waar nog gerookt mag worden. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Leuk extra was balkon! Ook ligging belangrijk, schuin tegenover bushalte en redelijk dicht bij centrum (maar de omschreven 10 minuten naar Notre Dame zijn toch echt wel zeker 20 min of langer) - Ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel (... wat mensen zeggen » receptionisten). Mooie lokatie, jammer dat het iets verder van een metrostation zit, maar Velibstation om de hoek. Ruime kamers.

  Quiet hotel, near Montmartre - The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was someone on the front desk 24-7. The rooms were a decent size, with a good shower room, and were very clean and in good condition. We stayed on the quieter side of the hotel - we were offered the choice - and the noise really was minimal. Also, during our stay the oth... wat mensen zeggen » er guests were quiet. The Luxelthe is a 2min walk away from Pigalle metro station and about 5mins from Abbesses up the hill, both on the green 12 line, so it's really easy to get ar - I went for a 3 night break with my girlfriend. Very good location, around 100 meters away from Pigalle metro station, which is just a handful of stops away from Gare du Nord. Turn left when you leave the hotel and go up the hill and you are in Montmarte, lots of nice cafes and bars, in a typical Parisian setting. A 5 minute walk away from Sacre- Coeur.   Absoluut. Dergelijke hotels hebben natuurlijk kleine kamers, met soms nul uitzicht. Maar de kamer was wel fijn ingericht en schoon! Fijn. Goede plek om te zijn. - Het personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk! De locatie is goed.
