Pension Pod Skalkou is located just outside the old town, a five minute walk has you in amongst this gorgeous wee town. The pension is new, clean, very well, appointed, a good breakfast selection is offered and it is staffed by a wonderfully friendly and helpful family. It has to be recommended 100%. Cesky Krumlov is very lucky to have accommodation such as Pension Pod Skalkou available for visitors.

We had the 4 first floor rooms in the old house, wow, every room was full of vintage items and antiquities of all sorts, access to the garden too which would have been lovely if the weather had been kinder. The owner, Vincent, was there to help us check in and show us the
layout. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Nice beds and showers. The
breakfast was generous with great fruits and local pastries. And he has
on-site ample parking that was free. And best of all the location - it
is just outside the main entrance to the city. Helps to have a gps, but
it could not find the street number for some reason. I highly recommend
this hotel.

We were on the top floor. The pension is located right down town in the pedestrain zone with a clear view of Krumlov castle out of the window. It is an excellent apartment in a great location. The restaurant Mastal nearby is excellent. Parking is offered about 5 min walk from the apartment with a voucher for a public parking lot. -

A perfect location, walk out the door and you are there. We had a vehicle so parking was not permitted in the centre, but they provided paid parking nearby.

The hotel is situated within the old town, close to the castle and all other sites. The rooms, though basic ,had everything we needed and were very clean. The breakfast was expansive, more than we expected considering the price of the room. The thing that stood out for us was the friendliness of our host and his ability to speak excellent English.

The staff were extremely friendly and this was the best thing about the hotel. They even collected us from the bus stop late at night when we arrived. Amazing! -

This hotel is really near from the city centre and good to stay for a few days. For the price this was perfect for a young student couple. It's also really close to the tower. The temperature in the room was decent. No AC or fan but it was't a big problem. The breakfast was served in our room .
