We had a downstairs room which had a balcony overlooking the river (there is also a balcony upstairs). The room wasn't modern but it was comfortable, functional and clean. Wifi worked well. Easy 3 minute walk to the old town centre. Parked out the front of the pension. -

Pension Pod Skalkou is located just outside the old town, a five minute walk has you in amongst this gorgeous wee town. The pension is new, clean, very well, appointed, a good breakfast selection is offered and it is staffed by a wonderfully friendly and helpful family. It has to be recommended 100%. Cesky Krumlov is very lucky to have accommodation such as Pension Pod Skalkou available for visitors.

The location and price are excellent. The buffet breakfast was very generous with the selection,staff was very nice and it's possible to park up to 3 cars in front of the pension, so it is convenient to have you car parked right on the spot as most places in Krumlov do not have parking and you have to walk to your hotel with your luggage.

The owner, Vincent, was there to help us check in and show us the
layout. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Nice beds and showers. The
breakfast was generous with great fruits and local pastries. And he has
on-site ample parking that was free. And best of all the location - it
is just outside the main entrance to the city. Helps to have a gps, but
it could not find the street number for some reason. I highly recommend
this hotel.

can't beat it. It's right next to the great historic town

We enjoyed our stay at U Zamku very much. Petr was a most welcoming and friendly host, helping with parking on arrival and numerous other things during our stay. He even posted a tripod stand, which we had left behind, to our next hotel. The location is wonderful, right under the castle, the room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfasts very good. We hadden een mooie kamer met alle gemakken voorzien. Elke ochten was een vers ontbijt met alles erop en eraan. We kregen de keuze voor Scrambled eggs of eggs met bacon. Er stond een kleine koelkast op de kamer. Dus wat wil je nog meer. - Zeer prettige uitbaters.
