  Good service (even an airport transfer at 04:00 was no problem). Walking distance to the old town and restaurants (less then 5 minutes). - This is a family hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We even got a bottle of wine to take away and a 10% discount for cash.   I have traveled extensively and I seldom take the time to write a review unless the service is exceptional or poor. I can say with great pleasure that Villa Rustica is an outstanding hotel with 6 star (out of 5) service. The staff absolutely cater to you making sure that everything is just right . . . they simply can't seem to do enough for you. Right from the start they upgraded our room and brought us fresh fruit and drinks - Absolutely marvellous staff! Especially Zdravka(?)! We really loved staying at Villa Rustica: it was off-season so we got a level-up room with no extra charge, first thing when we got there we were offered refreshments, the first night we had a local-style dinner on-the-house! Breakfasts were huge, and plenty, and tasty. Zdravka also made sandwiches for me when I went to Krka national park (although she forgot to give them, but we got them the day we left back to Dubrovnik :). Room had two nice

  Villa Palloma is one of the best places we have ever stayed at. The owner (Lovre) is reliable,helpful and dedicated. We arrived late in the evening and he drove to pick us up from the local bus stop. Great communication via email and phone. The stuff is very friendly,the cleaning lady very discreet. We found the location to be perfect for our holiday just enough distance from main high street and harbour which was only a 5 min walk away . Where there was a good selection of bars/ restaurants .   Grisogono Palace was hands down the nicest place I have ever stayed. The location literally could not be better. It is part of the main square of Diocletian's Palace, so right in the middle of wonderful Split. The ceilings are the original 13th century wooden ceilings and quite stunning. They drove with us in our rental car show us the best and cheap - Very central location, lively atmosphere outside in the Peristil, friendly and helpful owners, really clean and well maintained apartment, free internet, lots of space, big comfortable bed, aircon in lounge and bedroom, the beautiful original painted wooden ceiling and old glass windows give the apartment a lovely character. Mrs Katja told us a week in Croatia was not long enough - she was right!

  This was a real find although it was last minute. The Premier room is all you would ask for, the staff are the best, friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The restaurant is great, the location cannot be beaten, it is just 5 mins walk into the harbour area but at the quiet end of the resort. I would definitely stay there again - Excellent hotel with excellent services! Very friendly and professional staff. Location is also great, right by the beach and just a short walk from the center. We booked a premium room, the view from the balcony was really worth a bit of extra costs. The room was very spacious and clean, the bed was big and comfy. The hotel restaurant is probably the best in town, it offers delicious Dalmatian specialities. We had a very nice and relaxing holiday.

  Service levels were very high and friendly including an excellent breakfast prepared each day. Close to very good swimming and sea quality was high. A good location if you want to relax for several days and enjoy the beach. Rooms were well appointed with an excellent bathroom and very clean.

  Our host was extremely charming and helpful. The apartment is of a very high quality, both the furnishings and decor and is ideally situated fro visiting Trogir and the old town. We had considered staying in the old town, but glad we decided against as this apartment is light and airy and extremely comfortable with a magnificent view and a stone'... wat mensen zeggen » s throw from the water. Parking outside was easy and it is only a short distance to Split Airport. I would love to stay there again in the near futu - Top floor apartment has 2 double bedrooms, is beautifully furnished, spacious and quiet, aircon in every area. Large balcony faces the water, secure parking. The service was excellent on arrival. Easy 300m walk to a pebble beach with a cafe, old Trogir and the food market or nearest supermarket. We loved that it is set away from the car chaos of getting on/off the island of Ciovo. We took the boat taxis to other beaches.

  We arrived 2 hours early and the family appologised to us for not being ready, the apartment was spotlessly clean and in the middle of the world heritage site of Trogir, and only a 7 minute drive from the airport. and a boat ride into Spilt With a free transfer provided to the airport. They took the time to drive us to the airport. I got all the help I need when arranging bike renting and other activities. It was all together a really good experience and the people around us were very kind.
