  If I lived in Gananoque, I would want to become personal friends with Lisa and Mike (the hosts); they are genuine unpretentious people with a great sense of humour, and excellent and intelligent conversationalists with a wide view of the world. There was nothing they would not do to ensure my comfort. The house itself could get a "Good Housekeepin... wat mensen zeggen » g" award for decor, design and cleanliness. There is no surprise why they have achieved such an incredible approval rating. I was in the "King Room" . - The whole experience was terrific. This is a lovely B&B with extremely comfortable accommodations, fabulous breakfasts, and warm, welcoming, and very informative hosts. We had a great time and would definitely recommend the Islandview Inn to anyone interested in visiting the beautiful 1000 Islands region on the St. Lawrence River.

  The location was great - it was a short walk to see the Niagara Falls, yet in a quiet enough location that wasn't too crowded with tourists. The entire cottage was well-kept and maintained. Muriel was wonderful as a host - she waited for us to arrive and promptly passed us the keys, taught us to operate the cooker, washing machine and heater. We drove to a nearby supermarket and got all we needed to cook breakfast and dinners for the - We were a group of four and we all had our own bed and bathrooms. Very cozy and fun to have total access to the house and all the amenities including laundry.

  The room was small but very comfortable. The colors in the room were muted, relaxing shades. Front desk person was very helpful, friendly. Had problems with the tv and the other front desk person came right to our room to assist us. (It was a very simple fix.) We were on the backside of the hotel so it was quiet. Room had recently been upgraded. -... wat mensen zeggen » They were very helpful, with regards to the area, and pointing us to what we needed. The office area was very clean at all times, and the breakfast supplies were readily available and fresh. We were given one of the freshly renovated rooms, which was very nice. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
