Great decor, excellent bed, private deck and looks all new inside. It's about 300 feet from the water with low level buildings in the way but you can just see the lake from the deck. The self serve breakfast is good which you can take in your own time out on the deck.

Wonderful Staffs.1) Paul & Putnee (conciergiges) both waited until 2:00 AM when our plane was delayed for many hours due to the mechanical reason. They wanted to explain the ways to operate the room controls and the wifi.

My stay was absolutely perfect. The staff is friendly and polite. The room and bathroom were large with a nice terrace.
We stayed during the TIFF, a Valmont facial was offered with the room (indeed, we love valmont!!!). The SPA is great. I recommend the manicurist who is amazing!
ONE restaurant is very good, the staff again is extremely nice.

Owners and staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Minor confusions fixed immediately and graciously, the food at dinner was excellent and even a fire was set up outside by the beach. Watching cottages come and go from the marina provided entertainment fireside. Really great experience. -

Truly, I have no hesitation at all in recommending The Summerhill Bed & Breakfast. Convenience to the wonderful attractions of Port Hope; the best breakfasts; the best hosts, Deborah & Liam; and topping the list of bests, their fourteen month old wolfhound Maggie. It is a lovely and cosy guest house, no matter what your age. -

I treated myself to a mini staycation to a spa treatment at the Sweetgrass Spa (just next to Ivy) and had a wonderful refreshing body treatment. Then checked in the Ivy for a comfy quiet stay. It's wonderful to the mind and soul. The room was perfect, the bed was super comfy. Will definitely go back for another treat. -

The staff were incredible. The location superb and it was very quiet. There is a restaurant connected to the hotel which was great for breakfast. This hotel will be renovating which can only improve it. The beds were very comfortable. I would stay there again.
