  We arrived following a 3 day trip on buses and boats, so the arrival drink and cool towel was a welcome start to this relaxing hotel. The room was amazing, plenty of space in both the bedroom area and bathroom, including complimentary drinks. It was my partner's birthday during our stay and although I'd emailed ahead and requested a small birthday... wat mensen zeggen » cake, I didn't honestly expect anything to happen, however, he was greeted with a birthday card from the hotel, and an amazing cake was delivered to - A beautiful hotel with wonderful rooms but let down by the noise from the rooms above....from early evening throughout the night and again morning. Stayed 4 nights and each night was spoilt by heavy stomping feet above, scraping furniture and echoing movement. Maybe carpet is needed? I emailed in advance to ask for a high room but was given 2nd floor. I questioned this during the booking in process but was told that there were no rooms (suites) available on higher level floors.   Quiet spacious rooms, we had a room closer up to the top floor. Nice hot showers with coffee and tea facilities. The service was amazing and very pleasant. Loved that a signboard greeted us with our names at the entrance so you cant miss it. The convience of tuk tuks "partnered" with the hotel is brilliant as the staff will translate for you to let the driver know where to go. The tuk t - After a very long bustrip we arrived at Aqua Boutique around 22.00hrs. We were very tired but it was unbelievable how friendly and hospitable they welcomed us. It was really nice! Also the room was big, clean and nicely decorated. Wi-fi worked good. Next day we started with a great breakfast and then they arranged a tuktuk to the killingfields for us and afterwards transportation to our next destination ( Sihanoukville).   This is an old mansion, converted to a small guesthouse. The garden is a wonderful place to eat a relaxing breakfast. The location is ideal -- walking distance to most things a tourist wants to do. The staff speaks good English and French, is responsive, available, and helpful. It's not for the party-hearty crowd, but there are two places th - Staff are so friendly and helpfull. Alibi has a nice courtyard to relax in and have breakfast in the morning. My room was spacious, clean and with a decent bed. It's close to the Royal Palace and Riverside and tuktuks are everywhere. Would definitely stay there again! Phnom Penh has surprises me in a positive way, although busy a relaxed place

  The accommodation was great value for the money but just a little too far from the main Riverside area, a $1 scooter ride solved that problem. I booked in for a week but took 2 days off and went to sihanoukville, that's where I will head for when i return, a great beach
