The restaurant staff were really appropriate with our younger children.Really close to great food and shopping and park for kids.   be warned if you are expecting the hotel grandeur and modern and packed with guests, this hotel is not what you are looking for. However, the intimate and cozy feeling, plus the fine elegance of the deco all offer a nice and comfortable stay. As for the dinning selections, plenty touristy and less-touristy ones are around. Extra note - We stayed in the Deluxe King Room for 2 nights. The room was very spacious, clean and the second we stepped into the room we felt we were staying in luxury. The full breakfast we had booked with the room was amazing. So much range. Above all the staff were courteous and always made you feel welcome and as if we were regular customers to the hotel. Location of hotel was great - only 500m from Circular Quay and about 5min walk to Opera House. My fiance and I will definitely be coming back to the

  We stayed at the Holiday Inn because we needed somewhere close to the airport as we had an early flight in the morning. On our our arrival we were greeted by a friendly staff member, I think her name was Sarah who assisted us with all of our needs. We had a room on the first floor which was modern, clean and comfortable. If you are looking for somewhere to eat o - Having heard some negative reports about this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised to find it particularly good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room quiet, comfortable, and relaxing after a long flight. Both the evening bar meal and the buffet breakfast were very good and reasonably priced. I would consider using this hotel again, when travelling through, or to, Sydney.

I have seen other backpackers or hotels nearby but this hotel really stands out to be classy for the money spent.
