The attention to detail for being truly "clean" is astounding, the best I have ever experienced.   An absolutely charming hotel in a vintage home overflowing with the smell of fresh lilies. You can relax in the leather coach with a glass of port. The abundant breakfast buffet in the sunroom is wonderful. The hotel is in a trendy neighborhood with upscale restaurants half a block away and it is close to the Botanic Gardens and town. It is way more pleasant than staying in a high-rise ho - We arrived early (8:30am) from the airport and Ree not only let us check- in to our room but kindly upgraded us. So appreciated! The room was quiet, clean, and graciously appointed. Beautiful living room/parlor and yummy breakfast. Great neighborhood - quiet, yet just a block away are many restaurants. We had a very good dinner at a lively Italian restaurant down the street. Lovely walk through the Botanic Gardens to get to the bridge, Opera House, Circular Quay.

However, the intimate and cozy feeling, plus the fine elegance of the deco all offer a nice and comfortable stay. Above all the staff were courteous and always made you feel welcome and as if we were regular customers to the hotel. Staff were excellent and really friendly, and we received a complementary bottle of champagne for my partners birthday :) The room was one of the nicest I've stayed in, and everything was of high quality! :) T2 tea yum!!   Location!!!! It was extremely convenient. Opera house was a 2-minute walk away. Both the train and ferry stations were at the hotel's doorstep. Botanic Garden was also just across the street which was great. We travelled with 2 toddlers and the room was very comfortable and the balcony was great too. We paid extra for the harbor view and it was we... wat mensen zeggen » ll worth it. There were many restaurants at the harbor as well which was great. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend it. - I loved the view, and the good sized balcony. I loved that there was extra milk in the fridge, most places I always have to ask for more, though there wasn't enough sugar (we are big coffee drinkers). The spa didn't work so they gave us free dinner in the restaurant as a compromise, loved that! oh and the bottle of bubbly sent up to the room after i mentioned we were celebrating my hubby's 60th birthday was just lovely, thank you! :) very happy
